Jewish Funds for Justice

In addition to developing a new Content Management System and porting all their old content to the new system, we were tasked with developing a completely new identity for JFSJ. After launch, we have provided ongoing support for their online campaigns using Convio and Drupal.

One of their most famous campaigns to date helped get Glenn Beck off the air.

As part of our engagement, we have developed a custom Drupal Module, which will soon be released to the Drupal.org community. The module is part of a sophisticated online application system to facilitate Service Learning.

Elastic City

Elastic City intends to make its audience active participants in an ongoing poetic exchange with the places we live in and visit.

Artists are commissioned by Elastic City to create their own walks. These walks tend to focus less on providing factual information and more on heightening our awareness, exploring our senses and making new group rituals in dialogue with public space in the city.

Elastic City is produced and directed by Todd Shalom. He realized the idea for Elastic City while suffering from altitude sickness in Cusco, Peru.

The site features a fully customized ecommerce setup, with customized emails, and full fledged blog.

Organizing 2.0: How to Plan for Your Website Redesign

“Failing to plan is planning to fail”
- someone who planned

Whether you’ve got an existing site, or need a new one, you need to plan either way. While a web designer or programmer can help you build a site, it’s up to you to figure out “What do I need?”

New Site Launch | Time Lapse Dance

With the help of many, many people and some great teamwork, we officially launched this site for Jody Sperling : Time Lapse Dance

The original redesign was put together by Paris Marashi, while the site design and content management system was executed by Sam Marx

Jody’s upcoming work, Ghosts, will feature a wearable costume assembled by ITP folk (Jenny Chowdhury & Alex Kowal)

The site features a full content management system (run on Drupal), a full media player managed through brightcove, and some nice graphic work provided by her colleagues.

Check out the customized media player here.

During the process, we spent great care taking a look at the works page.
We wanted to make sure we could feature individual photos, videos, and text – all in one area – so the content management system had to be flexible enough to handle all those elements.

During the process, we also setup a facebook page, a blip.tv page, as well as a pro flickr account. The goal of setting up all these sites were simply to allow Jody to extend her reach beyond her site, while still providing a homebase for her work, and image.

In addition to visiting the new site, make sure you check out Ghosts, premiering in October!
